Inauguration of Sri Sathya Sai Computer Lab

With Bhagawan’s blessings, the inauguration of the Sri Sathya Sai Computer Lab at Village Mohabtabad, Faridabad, marked a significant milestone in empowering rural youth with technological skills under the aegis of the Sri Sathya Sai National Leadership Program for Self Transformation and the Sri Sathya Sai Skill Development Program.
The program commenced with spiritual fervor through the chanting of Omkaram and 21 times Gayatri Mantra, creating a divine atmosphere. Following this, a team of Disaster Management Trainers conducted an extensive and interactive session on disaster preparedness. The trainers shared practical tips and demonstrations to equip the participants with essential rescue techniques during emergencies. This insightful session was attended by approximately 100 children aged 14 to 17 years, who eagerly absorbed the life-saving knowledge.
The much-anticipated inauguration of the Sri Sathya Sai Computer Lab was graced by the presence of Shri Satish Kumar Phagna (MLA, NIT Faridabad), along with the village Sarpanch, Ex-Sarpanch, and other esteemed leaders. The lab, equipped with nine (9) computers, has been designed to cater to the educational and technological needs of the students.
A full-time trainer has been appointed to teach Basics of Computers and MS Office modules to students from class 6th onwards. For senior students, the organization will provide a Microsoft Certified Trainer to impart advanced-level computer skills, ensuring comprehensive knowledge and practical expertise.
The Principal of the School, Sh. Madan Lal ji, along with other senior leaders of the village, assured that this lab will not only be utilized by the school children but will also be open on weekends for all children of the Mohabtabad village who wish to learn computers.
They committed to arranging trainers based on the students' interests and needs.
From March 2025, with the new academic session, a full-fledged Computer subject will be introduced into the school curriculum along with Practical classes. The Principal expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Sri Sathya Sai Organisations, Delhi-NCR and its members for establishing this lab, which will significantly benefit the village students and the community.
Brother Shalabh Mittal, the State Education Coordinator (Gents), delivered an inspiring motivational talk, encouraging students to make the best use of the new facility.
